I am a Staff Solutions Architect at Google Cloud. I am passionate about continuous improvement and building systems that solve real-world problems. I enjoy complex and deep topics that require abstractions and have deep technical depth, and I was lucky to work on large-scale systems handling millions of transactions per second and able to solve complex industry problems.

My handle is: enctl. Being a Linux user pretty soon since I first had a computer, I was fascinated by the command line tool systemctl. Later, when I was using Kubernetes and Borg as my daily driver, they too had their own command line tools, such as kubectl. Using the same naming convention, I created this handle as my initials and the ctl suffix – sorry for geeking out :-)

Other than that I live in a suitcase between my two homes: Britain and Egypt.
